Youth Baseball
The Parks & Recreation Department offers this program that plays in the PONY league that is based out of Mason. Divisions are 10U, 12U and 14U. In 2024, it was the first year offering an 8U, and we are offering that again. A participant must meet the Age Cut off Date to play in their age division. With this, participants play on a team in their age division that travels to other communities in their division of play. Teams that have been in our division are: Webberville, Dansville, Leslie, Lansing Christian, Stockbridge, Williamston, Charlotte, Fowlerville, Olivet and Laingsburg. There is a total of 12 games (6 home games and 6 away games). Rules are followed as in the PONY League handbook. Season runs from April-June with an optional end of the season tournament. In 2021, our 12U team got 2nd place at the End of the Season Tournament! In 2023, our 10U team went 10-1-1! In 2024, our 14U team was seeded 1st in the End of Season Tournament.
